Proudly Local
Gulian and Sim Vaccari started Day and Night Chemist Ashfield in 1988. Both were educated at the University of Sydney graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor of Pharmacy. Gulian is a past president of the Ashfield Chamber of Commerce and a former councilor on Ashfield Council.
Paul Ta joined Gulian and Sim as a partner in the business in 2008. Paul graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Sydney University in 2000.
Day and Night Pharmacy Ashfield is an accredited QCPP (Quality Care Pharmacy Program) pharmacy.

Day and Night Chemist Ashfield has a truly multilingual staff, speaking a large number of common community languages including Italian, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Portuguese, and English.

From the very first day, we have operated as a true community pharmacy. We pride ourselves on our personalised service and warm friendly staff.
Our Staff are committed, as part of their employment, to ongoing training opportunities. Day and Night Chemist Ashfield also supports the Pharmacy Schools at the University of Sydney and the University of Technology Sydney, by providing student placement opportunities.

Over the years, Day and Night Chemist Ashfield has supported and sponsored many community groups and charities including The Exodus Foundation, seniors groups, and local schools.
Day and Night Chemist has been recognised every year since 2003 as a Finalist in the Inner West Business Awards.
In 2005 Day and Night Chemist Ashfield was awarded Outstanding Pharmacy /Natural Health Retailer for the whole Inner West area. In 2007 Day and Night Chemist Ashfield was awarded the Readers Choice Award in the True Local Business Awards for the whole Inner West Area.
